Michele Manuel inducted to the National Academy of Engineers

Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) Department Chair Michele Manuel, Ph.D., was recently inducted to the National Academy of Engineering — among the highest professional honors in engineering for those who have distinguished themselves in academia, private industry or government agencies. Manuel is MSE’s first female department chair and the first person of color to hold the position.
