  • Breastfeeding in the Workplace – As one of the leading universities in the country that promotes work/life balance for all its employees, UF supports and encourages breastfeeding upon return to work.
  • Dependent Care Reimbursement Plan – With a flexible spending account, dependent care expenses for child or elder care may be reimbursed from pre-tax savings.
  • Dual Career Services – Intended to make opportunities for employment accessible to relocating life partners of new UF faculty members.
  • Employee Assistance Program – The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides a wide range of services, including individual employee evaluation and referral, consultation services for supervisors, workshops, training sessions and support groups.
  • Employee Education Program – The Employee Education Program, or EEP, is an opportunity funded by university resources that enables full-time UF Academic Personnel, TEAMS employees, and USPS employees who have been employed in good standing for at least six months to receive tuition assistance for up to six credit hours of instruction per semester at the state university closest to their work location.
  • Family and Medical Leave Act – Up to 12 workweeks of unpaid, job-protected leave a year, with group health benefits maintained during the leave period.
  • GatorPerks – Including childcare and education supplies, pet care and services discounts.
  • Higher Education Opportunity for Children of TEAMS Employees – Provides children of full-time TEAMS employees with the opportunity of tuition assistance for an undergraduate education at the University of Florida.
  • Tuition Exchange Program – Dependent children of full-time, permanent status employees are eligible to apply.
