New UF Core Values Presidential Advisory Council seeks members

Council will be announced during Core Values Week later this month

A new presidential advisory council dedicated to sustaining and nurturing the University of Florida’s efforts to ensure its core values continue to shape and influence the university community in the years ahead is seeking dedicated and engaged faculty, staff and students to participate as members throughout the 2022-23 academic year. Applications to serve as a member are being accepted now through Aug. 12.

UF’s Core Values were identified and crafted in 2020 to augment “The Decade Ahead” strategic plan as guideposts for the UF community. Leading up to and at the start of this fall semester, a variety of activities and events will celebrate these core values, including the announcement of the new Presidential Advisory Council during Core Values Week, Aug. 29 – Sept. 2.
