How UF partnerships are helping make campus safer

Safe pedestrian and driving behaviors were the focus of a campaign that kicked off the first day of classes at UF and continued throughout the week at different locations on campus during peak traffic and pedestrian hours.

With tents filled with bike accessories and pamphlets, representatives with the Florida Department of Transportation and the UF Police Department, along with President Kent Fuchs, gave out information at the southwest corner of University Avenue and 13th Street to encourage good and safe pedestrian and driving behaviors.
