New Employee Orientation

Take the New Employee Challenge

The two-part online New Employee Orientation features an exciting “New Employee Challenge” with videos and institutional highlights to provide a great introduction to UF and UF employment.

Harassment Prevention Training

To support UF’s vision of an academic and work environment free of discrimination, UF Human Resources requires completion of the online training program “Maintaining a Safe and Respectful Campus ” within their first 30 days of employment. Learn about Harassment Prevention at UF.

Benefits and Retirement Enrollment

Once you’ve completed the New Employee Challenge we recommend you review your benefits eligibility and enroll in benefits as soon as possible. All new employees have 60 days in which to complete their benefits enrollment, after which they will need to wait until our open enrollment period, typically held in October, to make any changes.

New Employee Benefits Orientation

Learn about the benefits plans offered by the State of Florida and the University of Florida by attending a live information session or watching a pre-recorded video.

Retirement

We also encourage you to explore the retirement plan choices available to employees.

If you have any questions about your new UF employment, please contact Human Resource Services at (352) 392-2477 or email humanresources@ad.ufl.edu.
