UF’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is here to support you during challenging times. UF employees who live within the State of Florida, as well as their spouses or domestic partners, are eligible for six free counseling sessions with one of three dedicated therapists. In-person or telehealth appointments are offered. Employees located outside of Florida can email EAP-Help@ufl.edu for assistance in finding a community provider.
UF’s Higher Education Opportunity (HEO) program offers tuition assistance for undergraduate education at UF for the children of full-time (1.0 FTE) TEAMS employees. Eligible employees can participate from their first day of employment. Each year, we randomly select 150 applicants from the pool of eligible children to receive this benefit.
The program covers in-state matriculation fees, minus any Bright Futures scholarship awards, for up to 132 credit hours toward an undergraduate degree at UF or a Florida public community or state college if the child is not admitted to UF. For more information about eligibility and coverage, please visit the Higher Education Opportunity website or contact the program Coordinator at heo@admin.ufl.edu.
